Just before Katrina hit, I was paying $2.71 for premium (my owner's manual recommends 91 octane and since my choices are 89 or 93, I go with 93), the peak was $3.29 and today, I saw premium for $2.46 a gallon. 
Ugh. I can't believe that $2.46 a gallon for premium actually makes me tingly....

This is the first time in my life I ever shopped prices. www.fueleconomy.gov is where I ended up getting to the "Cheapest Gas Prices" link. It is great!
