I can thank my compact flourescent bulbs! I replaced all of the original 100W round bulbs with 26W compact fluorescents, including the one in the garage.
That bill includes the days when I've used the PC to apply SSRs and AIO to 2 cars too!
BTW my oven/stove is electric as well, and I have a fishtank pump running 24/7.

Fluorescents are good too. They don't highlight defects as well as incandescents but most of the time they're good enough, and just use a spotlight when needed.

I pay $60+ for a 2 bedroom apt.
You'll be amazed at what a rotary polisher uses as well as your shopvac.

And heat is included in the rent, so my electric shouldn't go up much during the winter. Just a bit each month 'til December due to shorter daylight hours.

Thats more than I pay in crazy California...my bill is way more than yours...use about 2k-3k kwh in the summer, and a kwh is about .125 cents....but the avg. cost just around .13 cents/kwh with all cost included.

When I used to live in an apartment, something was wrong with the water meter, whereby it never changed. So I'd only pay the $4 service charge every month. I never knew if it was broken, or if the meter was just in a really high resolution. I secretly wondered if it was like in the million gallon granularity, and one day it would roll one digit and I'd have like a $10,000 water bill...
