Seems like just yesterday I took my older boy to his first day of kindergarten

...and now he has moved into his college dorm room and begins two-a-days in the morning.

Funny you should mention that. My 4 year old is about to start preschool and I was thinking ahead to what it would be like when she goes off to college. I look forward to watching my one year old son grow into a man as well. I can only imagine what it is like to be looking back in your shoes. Enjoy this time. My relationship to my father started to get good after I went away to school.

He is in Illinois and I am in Texas. If you mean in kindergarten, I don't remember.

I would also say enjoy the time you are at with your kids. Mine are now 6, 9 and 21 and I have to say that every time I see an infant or a toddler I miss those days with my kids.

It seems a lot of people, if you had a rough relationship with your parents, start to really appreciate them when you get into your late 20s. That is when my relationship with my father started to really improve.

I took my son to his first cub scout pack meeting yesterday to sign up. He got his first pinewood derby car at that meeting and we are both really looking forward to working on it together. He drew 4 pictures last night of how he wants it to look. You would be amazed at how many how to sites there are out there on building ideas and the energy some people put into these things

No silly. The college women.

Sorry, trying to relive my youth. I seem to have misplaced it.

Although my daughter will be 24 in a few weeks and my son will be 22, I can still picture how they looked on their first day of Kindergarten.....
