Motorola E815 Cell Phone--no Analog?

I guess this is a little bit of an upgrade to the V710, but it appears to only be dual-mode which doesn't have analog...does that scare any of you? Verizon is selling it. I have some bad reception spots around my house, and sometimes only get an analog signal there (or none)...which means I would have none with this phone, not to mention what might happen while traveling.

Is the digital network so pervasive now that you don't need analog in your phone anymore??

Depends where you are. In some places,especially while roaming,analog is the only thing that works.
