going on a road trip attn people in cali/vegas
hey whats up guys. I am in western washington state and in two weeks two of my buddies and i are headed down the coast to cali then over to vegas. i'm just looking for some fun stuff to do. We aren't planning on sleeping arrangements or anything. Just a big road trip for a nice bonding and stress relief. let me know if you guys are from the areas and have some spots we should see. thanks.

Hermosa Beach is party city on the weekends. Venice Beach is a sight to see on a warm day. Universal City Walk is pretty nice on the weekends(age dependent). Hollywood Blvd. is good for weirdo sightings. Star gazing at the Beverly Center happens all the time.

what sort of stuff are you into...ca has it all
my top list would be:
san francisco - all the clubs are in northbeach, but there's al the touristy stuff to do during the day
highway 1 - this can be real fun if you have a nice car. it goes practicly the whole cost, but you can catch it in monterey and then jump back to 101S around Big Sur I think. You can drive it all the way to LA, but it will take you about 2-3 hours longer. San Simeon is a good camping spot along the coast if you you're interested.
in LA, man, there's so much. spoiledman has the good ones. manhatten beach is also nice. I think you can get discount passes to Six Flags at BK if you want to go there.
in vegas, just stick to the strip, but you can probably get cheaper rooms on freemont along with a big arse light show. RAH is pretty good as is Rain at the top of the palms. I'd avoid hoover dam unless you like sitting in traffic for about two hours.

Yes it is! I used to work there and it truly is the Beverly Hills of beaches.

Why don't you head a little further south and visit Tijuana. That is a real experience and/but it getts a bit seedy after dark.

It's seedy during the day and I don't recommend you being there after dark at all!
