Yes, I am joining a support group | As long as you do not walk around in Star Wars costumes or sit in line for a month (or days) prior to opening, you are semi-normal.

There were a few costumed characters at the theater however...

Oh crap, I just fell for it!
Just kidding... I'll probably watch it on DVD when it comes out, and I like the original movies.

The last two were positively horrible in every regard except special effects; soiling perhaps one of the best trilogys of all time. The first three were awesome.
Looks like this current one is a lot more dark and in line with the first one from 1977.
Looking forward to checking it out.
I still have all my original (first three) Star War figures with weapons / capes / light sabres, carrying cases, Land Speeder, the various ships and other vehciles. My mother who is a 4th grade teacher has my original Star Wars enyclopedia from the 1980's in her classroom's library. She said the boys are addicted to it and have been reading it every day!
When I was a kid, I took the cape off my Darth Vader figure and placed it over a light bulb. It proceeded to catch fire and nearly burned our den down. My father came in, put it out, looked at me and demanded to know who did this (knowing that I did it obviously). I proceeded to shrug my shoulders and said I didn't know. My father whooped me so hard in the butt that I whizzed my pants. One of the few times I got spanked as a kid - my special Star Wars moment.

Hey Spilchy, your old toys are probably worth a lot of $$. I know that if I could ever remember what we did with mine, I could probably pay off my college loans from the sale! (I would never sell though, those movies meant a lot growing up)
Sorry to hear that Darth Vader got you a whoppin'. A good lesson to stay away from the Dark Side
One more thing, you will like this one. Eps 1 and 2 were ok, but this movie makes it worth having to watch Jar Jar run around like a dork.

Pretty good movie, I'd put it just behind episodes 4 and 6, and just slightly over The Empire Strikes Back. Sure as hell beats Episodes 1 and 2, the only way it could have been better is if Jar Jar had died horribly.
