We probably have about an inch of accumulation so far, and it's falling harder now than it was earlier in the day. So... I'm sitting at home because it's like nobody knows what to do now that it's almost like winter again

No significance to that, I just felt like gloating.

Edit: as I'm posting this, the radio comes on with the weather report: Winter storm warning with a possible 9-11 inches of snow and high winds. Oh joy, well, the upshot is I may not have class tomorrow....

We didn't have any power from 6am-4pm today b/c of down trees... and it's just a complete mess out there. Gotta love Cleveland. I'm just glad that I am temporarily driving a nice aBlazer... handles this snow like a champ.
edit: Wow, 87 degrees in MI on tuesday? That's crazy. We have had decent temperatures lately but the highest we've hit were like mid 70's.

I assume you're stuck in the recent past. An underaged, modern Austin Powers, except your name is Greg. It's almost May by now

Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Michigan Posts: 632 | Yeah, it was great here earlier in the week. Monday night I finally got to really clean the interior of the car out, and tuesday, the nicest day, I had to work (go figure). Yeah, and more on the way, oh joy.
A guy at work has this theory (hes recently retired) that the reason we always get a nice snow storm in April is cause thats when all the elderly people come back from their Winters in Florida and other southern locations. He figures mother nature is kinda pissed at em for leavin in the first place, so she gets back at em. Hey, its worked every year for about the last 10, who am I to judge

It's cold and miserable here now and the southwest towards Windsor/Detroit is getting the snow too. Uh weren't we supposed to be in spring.
I keep saying I'm moving somewhere warm, I may just do it someday!
