Stupid Yahoo Mail

For the past week or two, my I haven't been getting the "new mail" icon on the Yahoo homepage, even when I have new mail. This has been a regular occurrence.

Then tonight I went to the Yahoo homepage and saw the "new mail" icon, got all excited, but I didn't have any new mail. I checked back a while later and sure enough, there was the "new mail" icon -- but no new mail.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I guess I should complain to Yahoo in stead of here...

I have been experiencing really weird Yahoo mail problems the last 2 weeks. It keeps saying I need to re-login after I have just logged in. Some others have reported these problems on other forums. They have some software problems I think. It happens no matter what browser or PC I use...

I guess if others are having problems then I'll just wait for Yahoo to fix things...

Thanks for the gmail offer, but I've already got a gmail account. Maybe I should start using it...

Beware Gmail. For it to function you have to have Active X turned on, or so they claim when I went to register after they invited me.

Active X being activated can lead to severe problems, leaving you wide open to hostile scripting attacks from the Web.

Even if you turn Active X on just to use Gmail and turn it off afterwards all it takes is one time forgetting to have hostile scripting enter thine machine.

Take precautions, folks.
