I took a chance, but the 30% chance won

Today they called for a 30% chance of a thunderstorm. I waited until about 3:45 pm to wash the 4runner. The sun was a shinin' when I started.

No sooner did I bring in the wash bucket, drops of rain started to fall ....... about 20 minutes later thunder.... shortly thereafter it poured

Damn 30%

I had just finished removing every spec of tar off of my car (gotta love white) yesterday when the rain started falling... looks like I won't get to actually detail the car for another two weeks! Damn rain with a chance of snow... lol

Thats Awesome! ^^^^

I knows its a PITA when spring is suppossed to be near. Its better when you get all that at least during the dead of winter. I love snow, but I think I would be pissed to get all of that this late in the season.

I've learned that isolated rain means it will rain where I am detailing cars and no where else.

If it doesn't rain when you wash your car, it'll rain after. This is a fact of life. At least I don't have to deal with snow.

Top one is my neighbor's driveway, just for a reference, that lamp post is about 6 feet tall, his snow pile is probably pushin 7 feet. THe second pic is looking out my window down the street, pretty self explanatory. Is it spring yet?

And yes, I know my driveway looks like an ice rink, believe me, i've slipped on it enough times that I think it is one now.

That happened to me last weekend. I just put soap in the bucket and it started to drizzle. I said to myself, "it will stop in 5 min". So I proceeded to wash my car. 2 min later, it was pouring cats and dogs. What did I do? I continued washing my car in the rain! 20 minutes later, and soaking wet, I pulled my car into the parking garage and dried it off.

Bottom line, if you really wanted to you could have.
