Nice buy Jon! Dell offer some amazingly low prices at times, especially as you can often stack their coupons and special prices.

I just purchased a Dell PPC X50V a few weeks ago, with a similar 30% off offer. I added a GPS receiver and now have the latest cool handheld and a GPS mapping system for less than the price of a dedicated GPS.

http://www.techbargains.com has a nice summary of current Dell deals, coupons, etc. I picked up a 21" LCD (does 1600x1200, PIP, screen rotates portrait/landscape, supports VGA, DVI, and S-Video and composite inputs) from Dell a few weeks ago for < $550. I caught it at reduced price, with stackable coupons . . . awesome.

Yep, Techbargains is awesome for Dell deals. Right now they're showing that you can get the 2001FP or 2005FPW for $501. I think they've even dipped down even lower recently, maybe around $475.

I got myself a 2001FP in January.. it's just beautiful! I paid around $570 for mine knowing I could get it cheaper, but I was ready to buy. Watch the deals for a couple weeks and you can pick up some real steals!

Try DealzConnection
for a list of "Deal" sites. Techbargains and Fatwallet are my favorites.

Fatwallet let you set up email topic triggers......great if you are waiting to trigger a purchase. Also have FatCash % on various stores....it adds up if you can purchase online and still pickup at the local store.

I do all my Toy shopping on the web these days.

I paid $368 Delivered for my Dell 19" LCD. Matching pair now.
