UK Autopians - what happened to spring?

Straight to summer! Luckily I've got some shade at work so I've been "experimenting" again! All my colleagues think I'm weird for washing the car before 9am and then spending lunchtime wiping various substances over it!

Anyone else been out buffing this week?

Cheers

Paul

In Cumbria, we had a few nice days and now just waiting for the rain to start again.

When you say you wash the car and work on it at lunchtime, I am guessing you drive to work, therefore how do you ensure the car is clean for polishing etc

I drive to work arriving at about 8. Have some brekkie. Go out and wash the car. Dry and leave until lunchtime. Have a quick sandwich then go out and start detailing / experimenting. If the car has gathered any dust / pollen between breakfast and lunch I'll give it a quick rinse and dry. The car's paint is knackered anyway so I'm treating it as a test bed for now.
