The picture of my house is 15 years old, and my neighbor's yard across the street is still dirt.
My Dad even tried his old house in OK. It was off by about 4 houses.

I would assume from this that every square inch of this country has been mapped from space and at a MUCH higher resolution than you or I could ever imagine.
I wonder if they have any pics of me with the PC in action.

Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: New Jersey Posts: 7,398 | That TerraServer used to be free (as a come-on) so you could get the higher res images...I spent a lot of time looking at images of things. Some of the images are satellite, some are airplane. They were a lot "newer" back then (but still not that new)...I guess they aren't continually updating them, must have been some effort at a particular time to capture them all.
