Job market

Hey guys I have a question. I am currently and insurance/financial advisor with New York Life. I love the job itself however I just cannot take the lack of salary and unsteady pay. The job has great potential however right now the 65-70 hour weeks with no pay in sight just isn't cutting it. What would you suggest that I do seeing as how I am still going to school for my bachelor's in finance on top of the job (sleep is no longer necessary for me!). I just need to make between 30k-40k and can even work with a little less need be. Any suggestions? Anyone in the mid-hudson valley know of anything I should be looking for? Thanks for any advise guys!

Have you thought about underwriting? I know there's lots of companies in the NY area with HQs there. Even if you get in as an Underwriting Assistant or such, that might be the salary range you're looking for. I used to work with a bunch of D&O underwriters out there and if they ever worked a second longer than 40 hours a week, I'd be shocked. Good luck!!!
