Yup, that's it!

It seems like there are a few pop-up windows that have been slipping by the blocker built into Safari lately, and this was one of them. It's always amusing when they try and make the pop-up look like an official Windows warning window or something, when you're using a mac.

There was an article on slashdot.org about that the other day. Seems pop-up spammers have figured out how to bypass pop-up blocking in several browsers including Safari on the Mac. Look at the second post down titled (The Return Of The Pop-Up Ad)

http://slashdot.org/index.pl?issue=20050220

Thankfully the pop-up blocking in Norton Internet Security seems to be holding as I am still pop-up free

I get this too. They make it look like a Windows XP window. I know it's a popup, because I have Windows 2000

Oh, they're on Linux too, trust me . I run Linux and I've had a few random occasions where one or two have slipped through and I've seen the Windows window. It's too funny.
