And enter in any phone number land or cell and then hit submit the number you entered will ring with its own number listed on the caller ID.
I have been driving my buddies nuts with this for the last hour.
Phone tricks amaze me, years back I learned if you pick up any phone and dial 958 the phones number is repeated. I have used that to find out what number im at so many times over the years.
Anyone else have phone tricks up your sleeve?

It helps when your on an extension or you are trying to find a direct line when your on a multi line phone
Duh I just noticed you said cell phone, it wont work on a cell phone, the other thing works though, sorry for the confusion

Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: Ottawa, ON Posts: 59 | For displaying the person's own number to them when dialing they are probably just using an automated dialer. I used one of these in the past for emergency calling and it's pretty trivial to have it display any number you want when calling out.
The 958 thing probably only works with certain companies equipment.
