    But seriously, I hope you simply love it, and that it turns out to be OK maintenance-hassle wise.

    What're you gonna do about pre-delivery pampering and what's the plan for its LSP/etc.?
    Thanks for indulging my constant small talk, lol It's like I'm freaking 4 years old waiting for christmas right now and it's only been 2 days :/

    I tried to make it as clear as possible;
    no front plate
    NO washing
    keep the interior bags/neat factory info cards.
    No dealer sticker
    Haven't decided if I'm going to find someone local to correct it or try to DIY again. If I have the spare $$$ I'll probably give someone a call. I think considering this color should be easier to respray I will likely fore-go a clear bra.

    Pics are here!

    instructions to dealer;
    no washing
    no PDI prep
    just powerwash.
    results;

    factory paint aside from a few scratches/marring and 1 bad spot is nearly perfect! No swirls yet! SHould just need to do a minor correction over the weekend to get her into autopian shape!

    CTSV- Glad to hear it came through OK!

    And, heh heh, even conservative ol' me will say that those brake calipers do tie in with the color of the parking lights in that middle pic.

    What you gonna do for LSP? I might be leaning towards OptiCoating it

    Thanks for the kind words, going to tint the windows and black-out the grill and I think it'll be just about perfect.

    Probably the same LSP I've used in the past;

    Adams Americana.

    She's a fair weather driving garage queen, no need for opticoat, The Americana was lasting a few months, that's fine for me.

    You got the color I said! It's a killer color and just saw a CTS wagon today in that beautiful blue. Really caught my eye and was only the second one I've ever seen in person on the road in that color despite seeing 100's and 100's of CTS's around SE Michigan.

    Color is beautiful and I think you're going to be happy have a wonderful looking car that can't be missed. Prepare to get a lot of compliments!

    Congrats again!

    Thanks!

    It looks 90% like Le mans blue on the C6's if I'm honest, and I wanted something more like jetstream blue, but she makes me smile a LOT more than Black diamond, so I'l happy.
