i want to top up my wax that has been on the car for 6 weeks. would it be ok to put Megs #7 onto 6 week old wax before i apply more wax.

shouldn't be a problem at all. #7 is pretty much just filler oils which shouldn't interfere with the bonding/curing of the wax

Go right ahead. You could even apply the #7 the next day after you have applied the wax.

I'd also give it a quick, gentle claying (e.g., with something like Sonus green) just to clean off anything that's embedded in/stuck to the existing wax. After six weeks, I bet there's *something* there that won't just come off in the wash.
