very nice article. bought myself a v1 a couple years ago and has been a very wise purchase. its picked up signals from 2 miles away before.

Loved my V1. but they need to wake up and make something new. I want a front sensor, a rear sensor and a tiny but very loud console. The one big unit thing is 1986ish at best. If the K40 was 1/2 as good as the V1......

i'll take function over style any day though. the only thing i want them to do to it is make the L, Ka, K, and X letters light up when they go off to make it easier to tell what band its detecting

Hiding the damn this is function! Here we get another ticket if they find it, and most other places, you have little chance of talking your way out of a ticket if the cop sees it. I've thought about taking it apart but I have 100 other projects that are higher priority.

yeah i could see where it would be a problem there. here it isnt illegal to have one so that makes it easier.
