Central Air Unit Not Cooling House

I have 2 units- one upstairs and one downstairs-

The upstairs is blowing- I feel the air blowing- the thingamabob outside (can't think of the name) is operating, but no cold air. I did notice that there's no water being pumped out.

I hear its the compressor, but hopefully it's something else. Is there a few other checks I can do before I call the rapis- I mean the HVAC guy?

Thanks!

Re: Central Air Unit Not Cooling House

Probably just needs to be recharged. Might even have a leak. It could be a few things though. I'd just call because unless it's a breaker/fuse there's probably not much you can do yourself unless you really know HVAC systems.

Dang it! I'm usually good at catching these too! I missed that he only had 2 post and both are the same.

Re: Central Air Unit Not Cooling House

Is it one of those two head unit systems that mount onto your walls ?

Those take up to 48 hours of continuous operation to cool your rooms. Two 5000BTU window units are cheaper and much more efficient.
