Help with copper sink?

My mom has a copper sink i think might be brass. but the point is that she can't keep it from turning green. she tries to dry it after every time she uses it but i doesn't help. she pus wax on it but the soap just takes that off real quick. is there any kind of sealent i could try to keep it a little longer?

maybe some KSG?

Have you considered removing it and clearcoating it? Somewhat extreme, but probably an effective solution.

you could probably get away with using a rattle can clear coat from your local parts store.
