Ed, Farrah, Michael.....Rest In Peace
Wow....what a week in the entertainment world eh? First Ed McMahon then Farrah this morning and now Michael Jackson!?!
I have fond memories of all 3 and it's sad to see their passing so my best to their loved ones and to all those feeling a bit empty and saddened by this all.

I agree.
That is too bad. My thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones.

I cant believe it. Just heard about it on the radio after a long 12 hour work day.
I'm 20 years old and he's been my favorite singer since as far back as i can remember.

Re: Ed, Farrah, Michael.....Rest In Peace
I was shocked also.....but perhaps it is best this way for MJ because I think it would of been really bad for him had his recent come back tour been a flop. On that same note it would of been great to see him do his act one more time just to see if he still had it.
I grew up on Johnny Carson....man I loved that show and it was the last thing I saw on TV just before bed. There will never be another Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon. Classic TV.
What can be said of Farrah......I heard it once said that many young teens in my generation went through puberty with her and that unforgettable poster....you all know the one!

Not a fan of Michael Jackson's music at all but it is sad when anyone dies at only 50. Had Farrah's poster on my wall as a teenager and loved the Tonight Show with Johnny and Ed.

I guess my Grandson is safe now! To bad about Farrah and Ed, both icons in the world. I am sure the press will concentrate on M.J. because they will compare him to Elvis and Frank Sinatra. Also because of the political correctness that prevails in the country. We live in a country that puts perverts and pedophiles on a pedestal and puts people of good moral character on the back burner. Lets thank the media for putting the perverts in the spotlight and disparaging anything good in the world. I feel for his family and children, but to me it is just as sad as hearing about John Gacy.

Re: Ed, Farrah, Michael.....Rest In Peace
Ahh yes the whole "Guilty until proven innocent" campaign mentality is live and well. Ed and Farah were kind of expected really. MJ was a little off. Didn't really expect that one. But I think MJ did everything he was really ever going to do. I don't feel it's a huge loss or anything. The real odd thing I find though is all 3 have recently fell into serious financial troubles... just an odd coiencidence I guess
