I can type again... kinda :)
The surgery went well, and I'm once again able to use my left hand to type with... for the most part.  It's pretty weird telling a body part to do something, and having it just go "uh uh, can't do it. 's not prudent at this juncture."
Still kinda freaked out about how they go in from the front of the throat to do spinal surgery. I'll be sure and post some really nasty pictures once I get to take the dressing off. 
No detailing for another eight weeks, though, so I need as much eye candy as I can get from you guys this season, aight?

Yeah, they went through the front to do the spinal surgery.. It's called an Anterior Discectomy, Fusion, and Foraminotomy. The first of three surgeries, but the doc thinks I have a year before I have to go in for the second.
Three metal plates and four screws... gonna make it darn hard to get through airport screening with any speed.
