I've done Idol 7 times and been turned down everytime except twice, and I got cut the very next round. It's just a reality TV show casting call, that's it. Talent has NOTHING to do with that show half the time. But, it is a good promotional thing.

But, I'm living in Nashville, TN now, playing out and trying to get my name out there. It's a tough line of business, but worth it to me.

You have to be a complete tool to get on Idol. I've seen the auditions and they'll pass up 100 great performers to get some flamboyant freak on the show.
