Re: Morons in the snow

part of me wants to believe that it was not just snow on the ground and maybe a layer of ice underneath all that snow.. but then i saw the little bmw drive perfectly fine in it.

Re: Morons in the snow

Definitely has to be ice (and it looks like a slight hill too the way the cars were sliding). Mental note: don't drive down hills on solid sheets of ice.

If his insurance policy is like mine, it probably wouldn't even cover all of the property damage.

Re: Morons in the snow

that was definitely ICE...not snow! What I dont get is why he/she kept trying to avoid the light poles...just intentionally hit one to stop. That way you dont hit 5 other cars and keep sliding. Hit the pole and you stop, hit the other cars, they all move!

Re: Morons in the snow

Ice or snow, I would just stop and don't drive if i hit something and don't have any control.

I do not understand why they tried to keep driving.

Re: Morons in the snow

If i remember that was some freak cie/snow storm in seatle about 2 years ago. IIRC they don't get much frozen precip. in seatle. So their cold weather driving skill are lacking to say the least. Obviously the BMW that was able to drive around fine must have been a transplant from colder a colder climate.
The guy that hits just about everything must have panacked. I can't imagine what else it could have been. Oh wait stupidity LOL

Re: Morons in the snow

Seen it before but its a must to comment on it.

Seems to me like the other people just couldnt do anything but that first 'SUV' looked like they were laying it to the floor everytime they hit something. You could see snow flying out behind it. Glad I drive a Jeep and not a SUV!

Except here we get snow every couple days and people still feel the need to drive 3 mph on the highway!
