this is what i get after only pb EX and collinite 845  | You can get that through careful paint prep though, and sling on any old LSP you have around and take photos in good weather and all cars will look superb... thats just the thing with waxes and sealents, they offer little if anything extra to the finish if the paint prep is spot on (in my opinion). Other than protection...
The probable reason for all the layers is enjoyment - the guy probably enjoyed doing it and fair play to him... I wont personally, I cannot afford to spend all that on an LSP and my car doesn't have a month plus to spare to sit off road for all the layers to go on, so I go for 3 - 5 and be done with it... But if someone wants to do it and they enjoy it, fair enough... Its all about enjoyment after all, is it not?

He would put on a layer of Z5, then one or more of Z2. I think he did this about every week or so until he hit 50. In fact, I think he went significantly more than 50 before stripping it down and starting over.
It's rest and relaxation after performing surgeries all week!
