Thumbs up Reminicing: The 90's

I was just sitting around and reminiscing about how awesome the 90's was. To me it felt like such a luxurious time, akin to the 1920. The stock market was bangin, Big V8's were every where Fleetwood, S class, 7 series, Ls400's the cars made to look and feel defined and presedential. Real rap, Tupac, biggie, snoop (when he was good), Nate dogg, Warren G. Not to forget the "first black persident" bill was a cool guy!

Your thoughts/inputs!

Good years... I was too young to appreciate it unfortunately, but man did we have no worries back then.

Re: Reminicing: The 90's

I was lucky enough to be in high school 91-94, and college from 94-98.

What sticks out in my mind in the early 90s (regarding cars) - 225 hp in a Mustang 5.0 was something to brag about (and be feared), I remember the low rider pick up truck phase, when neon lights under cars first came out, when a cell phone was in the form of a bag phone, when "hammers" and "five stars" were the wheels to have, I remember when an Alpine head and Jenson 6X9's (along with some kind of a sub) constituted a "system", and when guys would play their Sony Discman thru the head unit, because not every car came with a cd player.

EDIT - and I forgot to mention the "blackout kits / covers" for headlights and taillights.

Re: Reminicing: The 90's

It was great for me. My stepfather was in court for embeseling 8.5 million over 84-88. Bonus points for who knows who he is. I never liked him if you cant tell.

Re: Reminicing: The 90's

I loved the 90s and reminisce often. I was your typical long haired 'grunge' kid in high school with the Pearl Jam and STP t-shirts, flannel, and corduroy and/or ripped up baggy jeans.

Haha... I had a pair of those headlight blackout covers on my '88 Pontiac Grand Prix! I was (pre) ballin'.
