I spent this past weekend with my wife at the F1 race in Montreal. It was my first big outing with my 40D, I rented a 70-200 2.8 which was amazing and pretty much made my weekend. Took about 2200 pictures during the 4 days we were there these are just a few random shots that I took.
Comments are welcome, be nice though.

I need to send Lewis a thank you card. I have no clue what he was thinking, but I'm glad he hit Kimi instead of Robert. Although my friend (huge Ferrari fan) wasn't happy about it. I was pissed that they didn't have a race at Indy this year. We went last year, and had a great time. We wanted to make it up for this race, but it didn't come together. It figures, that this would be the one that my boys did well in.

Steve | I shot a few pictures from the bridge looking at 31, great seats! I spent Friday in the top row of 15 and Saturday half way up in 21, both down at the hairpin.
It really is a great weekend not nearly as expensive as people might think. Flights, hotel tickets for the 4 days was less than $1500 for the two of us. I have some video's that I took with my little canon camera that I'll post up later.

The pass Massa made on 2 cars at the hairpin was outstanding. I went to Montreal for the GP back in 02, a great event in a great city. Man the entire city is buzzing at 3 am and is F1 crazy. I loved every minute of it! I'm sure you had a great time.

I have tons of family and friends in Spain, now that there are 2 races there I think I should make it up there. Only problem is that were our apartment is and all of our family is, is in the wrong place. The two races are very far to drive back and forth every night. Oh well one day I will make an F1 race, I just can not wait.

I like to be right at the top that way you get the breeze and you can stand up all you want. Good seats can be had for as little as $220 for the three days.
