Any other beer snobs on here? I have to gloat.

My sister just picked me up 4 bottles of Westvleteren 12 by flirting with a bartender in Belgium. I now owe her my first born.

She doesn't even know i did this for her yet: Surprising my sister (DUW)

Indeed, that is time to gloat. I thought you could only buy that at the Monestary though?

At the monastery and a few places in Belgium, very limited distribution.

I gave my sister a list of beers to try when she went through Belgium on her semester abroad since i turned her on to Belgian ales here in Philly (This city is like little Bruxelles with all the Belgian cafe's). The bartender was impressed with this little blond American girl and her taste for Trappist's and when they got to talking she asked him where she could find this stuff, he gave her a few bottles out of his extensive personal collection.
