UDM 240V transformation

If i transform my UDM from 110V to 240V will be more powerful than using it with a transformer from 240 to 110 v or not??

A 110 volt motor plugged into 240 volts will go up in smoke (literally). Don't ask me how I know.

How do you know??

I mean to change something inside to make it compatible with 240V.(maybe change the motor???)
