But I can't open the box right now cuz the wife is watching. She gets upset when I spend money. So I gotta contain my excitement til later. She gets over it, but initially it's a little tense. Hmmm just 10 feet from me a little 1Z polish, a few Optimum products, a little Black Wow, Collinite Wax, Waffle Weave Towel, Riccardo Clay, P21s Total Auto Wash, and I can't remember what else. But I dare not look right now

When all my orders came in on the same day ($500+ of stuff) (around 3 boxes.)
mom: "uhh.. paull.. there are 3 heavy boxes with your name on them.."
me: " erm.. what? oh right.. let me just take those.."
mom:"whats in them?"
me:" Better that you dont find out.."
*dad comes home*
mom: "myron, hes got 3 heavy boxes and it sounds like they are full of liquids."
dad: " Paul?"
*me standing there trying to guess where autopia, danase, and ADS would leave their receipts int he boxes.*
me: " fine. I ordered some stuff.."
to sum it up.. i ended up leaving them by the front door, and waiting until my parents fell asleep, then taking them up to my room where i had my Tupperware bins ready, and filled those, then taped the boxes shut and put them back by teh front door, and then put the bins in the garage.
The next day they made me open the boxes and i played the sick joke on them. They ended up not caring about the purchases because I told them what i was going to end up doing.
So yeah. There is my story.

They are not upset with spending the money. They are upset with spending the money on something that intrests you, but it does not intrest them. It is sort of like a competition or something.

Let her know who is boss, then prepare for a long stretch of chastity. Don't give in, a few years from now, she will relent and you will win.
