Ford Focus ST Drifting
Any Ford Focus fans out there? Did I hear correctly that the Focus line is going 100% Euro-spec in the next year or two?

Re: Ford Focus ST Drifting
Big fan here.
2 focus 2.3's, both 04 hatchbacks. One with a 2.6 stroker kit and the other f2 turbocharged. Fully built engine, at 16 psi makes around 325hp. Very fun little car. GREAT track car and it surprises many a people.
I have heard the news somewhat on that line. although I have doubts still what they will give us. The brits get the focus rs, and the holy one. (Escort Cosworth) But I don't think ford believes that is what the us consumer wants.

I know, right. I've watched his segments on Mustangs. His lack of intelligence is laughable.

Re: Ford Focus ST Drifting
I own one of these cars but live in Australia, here it is rebadged as an XR5 to coincide with other Australian performance Fords like XR6, XR8 but it is a Euro ST through and through.
I must say its awesome fun to drive, mines grey though which for me is a little bit less obvious than the Electric Orange. Well I hope you guys get to have these cars soon on your market, it will be worth the wait.
Here is a link to a few piccies of my car.

Re: Ford Focus ST Drifting
I have an American '05 ST 2.3. It is a good everyday car for me, and fun to drive, but I keep waiting for Ford to let us have some of the European stuff, and it doesn't happen.
Sometimes I wonder if it is Moe, Larry, or Curly who runs the show at Ford.

Watch the review of the corvette and the ford gt. He liked both of those and he even bought a ford gt.
