If its slammed there, go to Bar Americain on 52nd st and 6th (ave of Americas). One of Bobby Flay's joints. The ONLY two things to eat there are the Gorgonzola bread appetizer and the Pork Chop main course. The place is really nice also. There are plenty of little bars nearby to go in and drink. Its also around the block from the best restaurant in NYC LeBernadin. I used to work in the building above, been to every restaurant on the block 50 times.
