PC. | The Internet is one giant equal access field. Most of us would never have heard of the resellers except via the Internet in forums like this. I know some sellers make it to car shows, etc. I have stumbled across at least 4 url's for CG using google.

REPEAT
More than 138 MILLION Americans shop at WalMart a WEEK.
Not to mention a huge presence in every auto parts store in the country! Meguiar's can take a big fat dump on boutique lines. | I'm referring the Megs Pro Line. Sure Megs has some of the local paint supply store market but on the internet Chemical Guys is trying to hit every market segment.

I am an end user, I do my research and then purchase...I let all the other guys on the other end worry about who the chemist is, who mfg's it, if it's re-labeled etc.

You are first in line for the Chinese made Chevrolet Avalanche coming out in 2009.

I think you're forgetting who CG's parent is...it's Warner Chemical that's in there (if at all) battling with Meg's and 3M (and AutoMagic, etc.) for the dealer/bodyshop market. CG's is just some Warner VP's internet marketing wet dream, and I'd bet dollars to donuts that their revenue is a tiny drop in the bucket compared to Warner, 3M, or Meg's, even ignoring the retail/consumer sales of those "big three".

Don't get pissed, I don't want to offend..but what you do when nobody is looking defines your true character.
What if GM and Ford decided to look the other way and build cars in China because they dont care as long as its a product. Not good....

I basically say what others have said that if it works they use it and you come after me... hmmm seems like someone's nose is brown for people who have tons of posts!!!!
Further more, you have no clue what you are talking about if you deem yourself so insightful as to know what I do when "nobody is looking" - start a 900 service!
If I wanted to chat with you about the automotive industry (which I work in and have for 9 years) I would have joined a thread about the auto industry!!!

When I refer to Chemical Guys I'm referring to the whole organization including Warner and the relabelers(since it's all the same stuff anyway). On the car sites I visit I rarely see anyone post about Megs pro Line(except MOL). Here at Autopia Megs Pro Line seems to be discussed less than CG's stuff. As for paint stores it's mostly Megs, 3m and Presta in my local market. Personally, I'd take most anything in the Megs Pro Line over CG's any day of the week. I think Megs is making far more off their consumer products than the pro line.
