Re: Deer vs. 140mph BMW

It appears to be a legitimate photo. As the story states, a car traveling that speed hitting a deer that small would result in that kind of damage. Like a bullet into a wall, body, car, etc....

I don't see how it could not have died on impact. You cannot even see its head so I assume its brain was destroyed.

Yummy!

I wonder what went through the driver's head as he saw the deer go *into* his engine.

Re: Deer vs. 140mph BMW

You would think there would be considerably more damage at 140 mph. It doesnt take a lot of volume to obliterate something at 140 mph.

I tend to agree that some part of story is not correct or accurate. It has been posted on many sites.

Re: Deer vs. 140mph BMW

Ouch, that looks nasty, I bet it stunk worse.

I had a buddy that is a trooper that drove a Chevy Camaro for his police car. He said he was running about 170 one night and hit a deer, he said the deer exploded on impact and the only damage done was a cracked windshield and a bloody car. No other damage other than that, he said he never slowed down.

Fake or not. All I know is that it looks like a job for the grout sponge.
