It was a solid enough discount that even if I have to order other polishes and pads it's still a pretty good deal!

(P.S. In the event that I do end up going with other products, do I need to order anything else to use Lake Country 5" pads with the PCXP and Meg's M105/M205?)

Hi Gary,
Thanks for jumping in on the HD offer.
If you choose to use other polish and pad combinations, you will need to make sure you have the backing plate size recommended by the pad manufacturer. The backing plate that comes with the HD POLISHER kit will work fine with pads from 5" to 5.5".
Enjoy!

Not until later this month. Shall I notify you when 3D has their USPS Global Priority shipping up and running?

Re: 40% OFF Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher Kit
Hey! I ordered the polisher kit and the HD Poxy Wax. Great deal! Unfortunately, after ordering I found a few other items I would like to try out rather than my normal stuff. Would it be possible to add some things to my order? Let me know ASAP so my order can be sent out ASAP and hopefully with all of the items I am wanting. Thanks!

Thank you, Mike. Yes, the easiest way to do it is to create a second order. I will combine them into one and credit your PayPal back the base shipping charge today.
Better, yet, why don't you PM me with the items you wnt added and I will send you the updated PayPal statement.

3D will begin shpping USPS Global Priority mid month. The polisher package will be approximately 11 Lbs fully boxed. According to the USPS site, it will cost $34 USD.
The reason it's taking time to ship Internationally is because we want to do flat-rate shipping. If we re-pack the kit in a flat rate box, the shipping is only $25 USD.

Re: 40% OFF Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher Kit
How difficult is it to learn how to use one of these for polishing? I've done some pretty intense detailing on numerous cars and used every type of product one would use, but I've never used an orbital. I know that it's dangerous to try and buff a car without knowing what you're doing, but I've heard that polishing is much easier. Is this true? I might have to jump on this deal if it's not too difficult (or dangerous) to learn.
