Talking HD Poxy review by me a yoyo salesman!

I received my FREE sample of HD Poxy, oh what joy discovering the small UPS box on my porch!
I immediately open it to fine a 9oz bottle a HD Handbook describing the complete product line and a 5.25" Foam Wax Pad with Velcro backing. I haven't polished my car for a year so I went to town with some Menzerna Polish before applying the HD Poxy.

I did a complete alcohol wipe down after using PO83, 106FF and Final Finish.
The 5.25" Blue/Black application pad seems to be a great idea.
The blue is very soft and the black stiffer section works as a barrier not allowing absorption
of the product keeping it near the surface since the blue section isn't very thick.

HD Poxy time!
Smelled like baby powder to me no petroleum at all. Consistency of a thick creme.
Using the UDM at speed 3 with the included pad HD Poxy spread easily thin
with excellent coverage. Tight areas I used a small foam applicator pad.
Curing time wasn't a concern since I applied HD Poxy to the whole car before any removing or buffing.
The haze removing was quite easy. There was no flaking or powder flying around it just
disappeared into the micro fiber cloth (or paint?), leaving a slick surface.
I was going to take pictures today outside my garage but it's raining.
My neighbor stopped by and without me saying anything she (Hot) notice the colors in the reflection
had more color like someone turned up the contrast. The only pic I have now (no photoshop just compressed),

I'm a sealant guy tried waxes many times and because of Hawaiian Heat I go for durability with at least a descent look.
How long will HD Poxy hold up this deeper sort of darker reflection look that no other sealant has given me, well only time will tell.

Are you going to do side by side comparison with Ultima. Ultima is pretty much the benchmark against which every product is measured.

Re: HD Proxy review by me a yoyo salesman!

Hey Mike, thanks for posting how you used POXY and the initial results.

Hope you don't mind, but I edited your original post to correct the name. It's "POXY", not "Proxy"... lol

By the way, I do hope that POXY lives up to your expectation. It is a combo "Sealant-Wax"; not a pure wax or a pure sealant. So, the deep, dark, richness is coming from the three waxes. The durability you experience will be from the amino-functional fluid (sealant).

Hey David could you change the title, Poxy spelled wrong!
Slight overcast day here in paradise. White has to be the hardest color to photo in the sun light.

Hey Mike,

You'll be happy to know that my techno brain has mistyped PROXY a few times.

The pic look great!

From my island paradise to yours... Mahalo!

Looks like a great product. What is durability said to be around, I know there is a lot of variables that go into it but any guesses.

The longest test is the owner's Maserati at well over 6 months.

Sounds like a winner! The list of products to try from HD keeps growing, sooner or later it is going to be the whole line!
