Guide To Detailing Posting Rules

Please read these simple rules before you post a new thread or comment.

This forum area is here to provide how-to information. It is not here for spamming, marketing or publishing infomercials. Authors are allowed to publish how-to information for specific products, but must restrain their comments about a product to why they like it for a particular process or procedure. Hyperbole will not be accepted.

The following Thread posting rules apply:

1. NO LINKS ALLOWED! (Even a stupid -- "oh, I didn't know" -- attempt to do so will get your sorry butt banned. All links will be generated by me through auto-linking to sponsors or other sources of information.)

2. The article (thread) must be a true how-to for educational purposes, not a lame attempt sales pitch. It the how-to smells like a sales pitch, it will not be approved.

3. Images must be hosted in the Autopia Gallery and must be no more than 800 pix wide.

4. No HTML. All formatting must be through BB codes (I will post a guide).

5. Videos must be hosted on YouTube.

Members may comment on how-to threads with response posts to ask questions or add your own twist on how to do the same thing (or do it better). Response posts should not:

1. Slam the author for their method or choice of products.

2. Counter with your favorite products as a better choice.

IN ALL CASES... I reserve the editorial right to decide if a how-to article belongs here or not.

Got questions? Please send me a PM.
