Who need new tires?!
Discounttiredirect.com have a good deal for tires right now:
"Receive $100.00 instantly with the purchase of 4 tires or 4 wheels." Plus free shipping!
I just bought for my Accord (4) Yokohama AVID H4S (205/65/15) for total 228$ I think its pretty cheap. Deal will expire Oct 20, 2007.

Re: Who need new tires?!
I was recently informed that Sears will match any tire price... including online!
I have a friend that works there and they will match prices from Discount Tire, Tire Rack, etc. plus the cost of shipping. Another suggestion for people looking for tires.

Re: Who need new tires?!
however... the goodyear f1 gs-d3 are $724 @ tire rack + $41.02 shipping, and $646 with free shipping at discounttires.com. Not bad... $119 savings.

Re: Who need new tires?!
I've bought from discounttiresdirect.com before. At the time they had the best price on the tires I was looking for. I didn't have to pricematch or anything. The only slight problem I had with ordering it online was that the warranty I purchased for the tires didn't come with the tire, so I had to email and request it, which they promptly sent to me.
Be careful at the store though. When I walked in and told the guy I bought their tires from their website, the guy thought I was an idiot and tried to screw me by telling me I had to pay to not only remove and unmount my old tires, but also to mount and install the new ones on. I explained to him I've never heard of people being double charged like that before and after he realized I wasn't his typical dumb customer, he said I was right and proceeded to charge me accordingly to what the website stated.
Then after we got that straightened out, once my tires were installed they told me that in the process of removing one of the wheels, one of the caps was damaged. I was pissed about that as the caps for my Volks cost about $125 for a set of 4, and you can only buy it in a set of 4. I didn't have the time to argue about it otherwise I would. The tire installer wasn't too bright, but he was nice and at least honest about it so that was part of the reason why I let it go. At least he used the correct sticky weights I requested, instead of the kind they hammer on to the side of the wheel.

Re: Who need new tires?!
ooh, they better use sticky weights on volks. they would be complete idiots if they did hammer those steel or aluminum weights to your rim. and for the guy that tried to charge you extra is a total dumb $hit.

Re: Who need new tires?!
Thanks for the tip. I ordered a set of 17" wheels and tires this morning for $560 mounted, balanced, log nuts, hub centric rings, shipped to my door. That's cheaper than I could have gotten just tired locally. I didn't really NEED them, but I wanted them
