Easy Reach 200 lb. 2-step mini-ladder - $9.99 at HD

I picked up this mini-ladder today at Home Depot for $9.99. I'd been wanting something that was portable, easy to carry and would let me get up on SUV's and pickups easier. It can be seen on Home Depot's Weekly Ad, page 2. Its made by Gorilla Ladders, says it has "extra wide steps with anti-slip surface". Its pretty heavy duty and has a nice safety latch when the ladder is in extended position that locks when you are standing on it. The anti-slip surface I wasn't too impressed with, its a "ribbed metal" but the steps are not really "grippy" non-slip. DIY'ers could probably add some non-slip topping on the steps to make it better. The top elevation on the 2nd step is 17.5 inches which might not sound too high, but I think will serve most needs of getting up on SUV's and large pickups. For comparison, both HD and Lowe's had other 2-step ladders, Lowe's had a very light-duty one for $15.80. HD & Lowe's had other heavier-duty models around $28. Reg price on this is only $11.99, so only $2 savings but $10 for a nice mini-ladder caught my eye!

I use a work platfom that's 2 1/2 ft high , but for that price i think it's a good deal.
