It was actually the pet model. I think the only thing different is it comes with a sample bottle of the pet oder solution.

That one seems to have a built-in scrubber and is a bit different than the basic LGCM.

The same one that was linked to above from Amazon. I couldn't figure out why it said "Pet" model on it but when I got home and found the 8oz sample of the pet solution I kind of laughed. The marketing department must have been grasping straws for a way to update it. They did have the Spot Bot at Walmart also but I'm not sure how that would work for what we use them for.

I believe I got my heated LGCM at Target (this was a couple of years ago) but last time I looked (which was a while ago) the Spot Bot seemed to have replaced it, and you're right, it seems like it would be pretty unworkable for a car except on mats that you had removed. Like everything else, from soft drinks on up, there seems to be no end to the variation used for whatever slight marketing advantage might be gained, and the stores are hard pressed to carry all the variations.

They are getting harder to find for sure. Like you mentioned it seems the Spot Bot is being pushed as perhaps a future replacement for the LGCM.
