$4 a gallon Tire Dressing

I picked up a couple of 32oz Bottles of some cheap Tire Dressing at the Dollar Tree store tonight. I did one tire on my truck but it's hard to say how well it works. I cleaned the tire with some dilluted APC and a mf towel but there was still some sheen. Tire looks pretty good though so far. I'll try it out tomorrow on a few customer cars. I mainly wanted it for a cheap well dressing. Currently I use Stoners Tire Shine cut 1:1. I'm happy with that and it's cheap too ($55 for 5gallon shipped using a $5 off coupon, $5.50 a gallon cut). If I can get something decent for $4 a gallon though I'll stock up. If you are not familar with Dollar Tree is an chain of everything is a dollar stores. I was at 2 of their stores today and seen the dressing at both. Street Appeal Professional Tire Shine is the name. White bottle, black trigger. They also has some glass cleaner, wheel cleaner, leather wipes, all purpose wipes, car wash soap.

Re: $4 a gallon Tire Dressing

Well I went to Dollar Tree and picked up an gallon of this stuff. I will try it this weekend detail for wheel wells. For this price it can't be beat if its decent. It could be the perfect substitute for the cheap TW FK 2001 that I was using.

Re: $4 a gallon Tire Dressing

yeah yeah yeah....I tried the dressing out today and it looks like I will be heading back to Dollar Tree to pick some more of this stuff up. It appears to be water based and left a great shine in the wells. For $4 a gallon it can't be beat.

Re: $4 a gallon Tire Dressing

I tried it on a few cars on Thursday. Worked well for the wells. I also used it on some tires and felt it looked nice but need to test it some more. I did find that I had to shake the bottle quite a bit to get it to mix up. I took off the sprayer and you could see it was collected on the bottle. I only checked one bottle though so not sure if all of them will be like that. I did stop by and pick up 5 more. I'll get more but I have a serious issue with space in my house right now and don't have room to store much.
