Another Big Lots Deal

I saw a Meguiars Wax Kit. I think that's what it was called. 9.99

32oz Cleaner Wax and 32oz Quik Detailer.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be by a couple on Saturday and will see if there is any there. It might be worth it just for the QD.

Agreed; considering I usually pick up Megs QD for about 8-9 bucks for a 32oz. at PB, that isn't too bad at all! Still gotta find out where there's one out here in the Chicagoland area...

I did a search based on your Zip Code and it looks like the closest store to you would be in Aurora. Big Lots! site listed twenty stores in your area up to 55 miles away. Here's the link in case anyone wants to find a store in their area.
http://www.biglots.com/
Just type in the zip for the location you're seeking and you're in business!

One slick trick I've learned is to use my cell to Google with text messages. For example, I can send a message that says "big lots" followed by my zip code and it returns results in the area. You don't need a specific business name, I could also enter "pizza" and it would give a selection of resturants that fit that fit that bill.

Thanks Ben K. for doing that and it's appreciated!

I still need to get some time someday and get over there and I probably, depending on when they close (was leaving Aurora at ~8:50) could have stopped by since I had a detail today in that area... :/

Something I didn't know, heh; will have to play around with that sometime too--I'm waiting on a new phone from VZW and it'll be interesting if the VZ Navigator has a similar thing on it

You're quite welcome GMCloud! Went to to two different BL stores this weekend in the Buffalo, NY area and scored really well yesterday. The store had the Long Haul sampler bottle kits at $4 and lots of the large bottles of the Truck Gloss, Tire Shine, Bug remover and degreaser and the Wax/Polish. Picked up more of the TG and the Degreaser.

They still had lots of the Meg's brushes and Endurance Gel. No sign of the Meg's Cleaner Wax and QD, darn it. Always an adventure going there, you never know what you'll find. Oh, they also had the Nikota shop vac that was mentioned in another thread and Nikota 5" and 7" wool buffing pads. Thanks to everyone for posting their finds it's a great way to pick up some great products at bargain prices.

LH bug degreaser has never failed me. yesterday i used it on some baked on tar, and it made easy work of it! if anyone hasn't tried it, go buy one before they're gone. not to mention, it's cheaply priced for the big bottle you get....
