if anyone is interested... they have the Orbit 7 Piece Watering Kit (six year warranty and is just as nice as Gilmour) on clearance for $7.50 ($24.99 value)! it includes the following...

(1) Adjustable Pistol Nozzle
(1) 10 Pattern Turret Wand
(1) 10 Pattern Turret Pistol Nozzle
(1) Brass Quick Disconnect
(3) Quick Disconnects

if you were to buy the quick disconnect alone it would be $5, and the quick disconnects $2.99 each! there were also other items like the big jug of blue coral soap for like $1.62 (IIRC), armor all wipes, and an assortment of other stuff. may be worth checking out, just make sure to check the clearance isles as well....

FWIW I paid 9.99 for this set at Costco about 1.5 months ago. 7.50 is cheaper and you dont need the Costco card though.

I liked it just for the quick disconnects, makes sprinkler hoses easier to get rid of when cutting the grass. The nozzles are pretty good, I like the wand one for "power wash", I was able to clean the screens for my windows pretty quickly and without having to bend down and hurt my back.

no doubt, it's worth it just for those. i paid $4.99 at home depot a few months back for the female/male brass disconnect alone, and not to mention you get 3 quick disconnects with it!
