Autozone - Eagle One Buy 1 Get 1 Free

So I stopped by Autozone yesterday to pick up some tire dressing (Eagle One) and they have a rebate thing going where you buy one get one free and you get to pick from:

Bucket Free Car Wash
Regular Car Wash
Wax As You Dry
Tire Shine
All Wheel & Tire Cleaner

So I picked up the tire shine and wheel/tire cleaner. Even better though, I got one of the tire shine bottles that came with 28% more than normal (another 6-8oz) and also packaged with a tire swipe.

Just thought I would let you guys know

Also a related deal at Walmart for Eagle One.

Walmart has the EO Tire Cleaner and Tire Shine on sale for $4.47. EO is running a promotion on some of their bottles with coupons attached for $1.00 off most EO products including WUD, Tire Shine, Car Wash Soap, Bucket Free Wash, Wipe and Shine, and Tire Cleaner.

I ended up paying $3.50 per bottle. Not as good as Buy One Get One Free though.

Ever since I discovered that wonderful Wheel/Tire cleaner of theres I have bought 7 bottles and they're all lined up on my shelf now, damn that is some good stuff. Never tried the Tire Shine, I've heard Wax As You Dry is pretty good so I picked some of that up a few weeks ago but haven't used it yet.

Based on my experience, the EO Bucket Free Car Wash is a waste of money. I tried it even with the two-bucket wash method and it seems to be VERY hard to rinse completely. I now add a couple sprays to my regular wash just to gradually use up the product.

Good thread otherwise!

Yea, I noticed that deal this past weekend so I picked up 2 bottles of the Nano Wax. I keep wanting to buy the wheel cleaner, but I only have plastic hubcaps. They also had the CCD for $10.99 so I picked up one of those too.

i went to a local pepboys the other day and found they were blowing out the EO1 bucket-less trigger wash, and i bought 3 at $2.50 each (didn't really need the rebate, since i got it on 50% clearance). i just hose down the tire, spray a few times, and then scrub with the tire brush... done!

You know you can use that coupon along with the Buy one Get one Free, brings the cost down to half.

I know, I have about 60 bottles of wheel cleaner, 45 quarts of oil, too much else to list and when you add in the gift cards and rebates I made money.

You gotta work the system.........
