steel push cart on sale at harbor freight

i just bought one of these carts to put my pc and supplies on when detailing the car, so i don't have to keep bending over and laying it down on the ground like i use to. it's normally $39.99 and it's on sale for $22.99 (total came out to $24.77). it may not be on sale on the website, but i saw an ad in their circular (sale ends 1/31/06) in the store. not to mention... it was very easy to put together.

www.harborfreight.com go to "find item number" and type in "5107" to see what it looks like.

Yeah, carts like that are great. If you use a Cyclo, you can hang it off the lip of the tray by than top handle (pads facing up)- about as convenient as it can get.

Cool

A cart’s a very handy thing to use.

Probably a good idea to get some pipe insulation foam and duct tape it around any areas of the legs and corners that might bump into your car.

PC.

Cart @ the right price!

So I've had all my crap in piles for a while now. Then my wife told me I HAD to organize it all. The best I could figure out was some rubbermaid containers. Not perfect as you can see below.

I thought there has to be a better way. Plus it took me so much time to get everything ready to use, then find everything, UGH! When I saw one of those plastic utility carts being used at the mall, I thought one would be perfect! But, DAMN - $200, $300, $400 for a plain plastic cart?!?!?! I did find one online for $59, but after shipping a 50 pound box, it was still gonna be $90 and 10 - 12 days to get here! Everyone's been talking about getting a steel cart for cheap. But, a metal, sharp-edged cart on wheels... near the car? Um. No.

I started hunting the Net for one... and low and behold - Northern Tool! Only $69.99! And there's a local N.T. in town! Total was $74.89 (and instant gradification!) And it even has a cup holder for my beer!

So, if you're looking for a cart, here ya go!: Item# 143210 http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...9153_200319153

What do is I have a rubbermaid container for my interior stuff, one for my exterior stuff, one for the PC, pads and compounds and polishes, and one for my diry and clean towls. That way I can grap the container for the part of the detail I am working.

I thought about a cart, but I would need to find one with locking casters... there are too many hills here! That and it could be a pain to lift in and out of my trailer since I dont have ramp.
