Wow, that's a good price. I have a lot of those towels, but I definitely didn't pay 10 cents for them!
I do feel I should warn you of one thing though, in case you don't already know: Those microtex towels are great for glass, interiors, even for washing a car when using QEW, but they definitely are not premium quality, and if you're not careful, you can marr paint with them. Don't get me wrong, you can use them on paint, but just be careful. I reserve my poorboysworld cloths for the paint, and just use those for less improtant tasks.

Ha! Score! my current supply of throw away towels is diminished after the 6 (maybe 7?) engines I've done in recent weeks. These would be great to resupply my stock. Thanks for the info!

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but I'm sure that sale is limited to a particular store where they either had a huge overstock or the manager wanted to be rid of them. I wouldn't count on finding that deal in every WalMart...my local one only had a few bundles of those the last time I was there, and they were still at the regular price.
Still a good deal...makes them almost as cheap as paper towels!

You are right there. I saw them at my Walmart yesterday and they were still $.97 for the two pack.

Same here in Central PA - regular price. Still cheap, and useful for "utility" duty.
Plus, for those of you who are also "housekeepers," like me, there is no better dusting cloth like one of these. MF just grabs household dust.
Though, I would rather dust my car's interior.
It's always worth taking a look at items such as this. You run into a bargain when you least expect it.

Yeah, stick with utility duty with these guys (wheels, door jambs, interior dressings, bumpers, etc...).
They'll feel plush when new, but after a few washes, they will curl, fade and stiffen up a bit. It will increase the chances of marring the paint. Really good MF's now a days can be had for much cheaper prices than before.
Still, for .10 a pack, you found a great steal! It beats paying $9 a pack at Costco for my utility MF's.
