PC for Christmas - Where to Get the Best Deal

Where is the best website (or store in MA) to buy a PC, as well as a starter kit as far as pads, supplies goes? I'll be getting this as a gift, and won't be buying it myself, and the person buying it will have no idea about the product, so I want to make the purchase as easy as possible.

Thanks everyone.

You've got a few good options out there. Santa's bringing me a new PC/Pad kit as well. So being the good little elf that I am, I've been looking around. With the Autopia discount, the SFX kit comes in around $177.00 shipped. Or you can buy a PC 7424 on Amazon.com for $119.94 (free shipping, too) & buy the Propel pads from Excel Detail. (pad kit's around $51.00 + shipping)

Are there any variations on the product? Or is there only one 7424 - 6 in random orbital polisher?

It's just the 7424 and the 7336sp. You can buy the 7336sp at Lowe's if you have one nearby.
The only difference is the counterweight inside. The 7336 has the 6" weight, while the 7424 has the 5" weight. I always use my 6" one.

My family has looked for the PC at sears and home depot with no luck. Is the 7424 available at Lowes?

As far as I know, Sears and Home Depot do not carry the PC. The 7336 IS available at Lowes, and sometimes the 7424 is as well.

There was a recent thread stating that the 7336 is on sale at Lowes for ~$70.

Best deal around: http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/S...9c0+1132655883

This is where I bought mine. They have had this price for 3 years now... And it comes with a bonus hook and look backing plate, pad, and counterweight...

Autopia has a 20% discount going on at the moment. I just ordered the SFX Polisher Kit. $172.00 shipped was well worth it to me! I'm psyched!!
