Chicago Electric Rotary For Sale

I bought the rotary from Harbor Freight when they were on sale about a month ago and used it through 3 full details with great results. I will sell it for $20 + shipping. This is a pretty good rotary in which to to gain some experience. It's no Makita or Metabo but it definitely gets the job done. PayPal is preferred.

Comes with all you see here!

Why are you selling it so soon if it worked well?

I think he's planning to step up to something along the lines of the Makita/Dewalt.

JJ--What size is the backing plate in the picture? I'm assuming it is a velcro one? What model # is the polisher?

This was the machine I used in order to gain some experience with the rotary before spending a substantial amount of money on a name brand mcahine. My Makita arived the other day so I have no real use for this one any more. There is nothing wrong with the polisher.

The BP pictured is 7 inches I believe, however in order to use the PC pads, one would need to purchase a 4.75 inch or 5 inch BP from Autogeek. THe threads on the PC and rotary BP are different and therefore incompatible.

As for the model number: Chicago Electric Power Tools 92623

HF has them for $30 right now, so people are probably more inclined to just buy new. Just my opinion though.

At least you know he has all the parts. When I ordered it direct from HF, I was shorted a bolt(holding the handle). Good thing my friend had a dye kit to rethread a bolt for the threading on the machine.

Well, I can get the rotary there in 3 days vs. 15 like HF, and I can also get it their cheaper $30 includes shipping.
