I wonder if that's their normal price or a sale price. I can't find where it says special or sale anywhere???

Supposedly this thing is amazingly accurate. Something like 40+ auto magazines use it for testing purposes. The new "RR" version looks really cool but the price is way up there.

Nice find DK, just searched on ebay too and found it for $33.50 shipped via USPS Priority. Regardless, I think I will be picking one up .

I've run my car with a Gtech, I dont think it is really accurate unless you have a pretty good idea of what your car weighs. The numbers I got weren't too far off.... It is a HELL of a lot more fun to run down the drag strip though.

weight, speed, time = wheel horsepower (I'm assuming it accounts for sea level as well)

It looks like the one from the early to mid 90s that sold for like 130-150. When I first saw back then, it caught a lot of flak. But from what I understand, they're better these days. How accurate ?....ya got me.

True - weight, time, and distance are all important - but for something that's not programmable for weight that becomes a little sketchy.

I've never used one before, but I thought that it let you enter the curb weight of your car manually.

Well I'm pretty clueless as well, I'm just going by the fact that it's described as plug and play. And I don't see where/how the weight could be put in... damn technology.
