Long Haul at AutoZone...

AZ is now carrying the Long Haul brand of products. The truck wash looks interesting regarding its acid rain claims and Scottwax gives good marks to their QD

I'd call around...not all Autozones nationwide have the products. I've asked the folks at Long Haul to round up more specific dist. info.

The woman gave me info on an Autozone in my area that was supposed to have the products, I called, they did. None of the other AZ stores in my immediate area have it. I picked up some of the Polish/Wax. We'll give it a spin.

I have yet to see Long Haul at any of the AZ's in Pa. I know Scottwax loves their QD. I hope they get this product line cause I would like to give it a try.

Pep Boys has the new Long Haul line. Their prices are pretty reasonable. They have a car wash, metal polish, degreaser, polish/wax and a QD.

I picked up a bottle at AutoZone in KC MO. Tried it on the wife's daily driver..96' Pathfinder. It definitely has a petroleum smell (mixed with a Meg's glaze smell). Wierd gray liquid that will definitely change the color of your foam finishing pad. Applied easy and wiped off easy with an mf. The end result is a very glossy finish. If you don't have a nice, scratch-free base, it will amplify those scratches. Overall, a winner IF the durability is there.

Is this the line that Scottwax uses?

I know he likes the QD and one other product, can't remember. I remember seeig it on a black BMW 3 series he did for someone in an office parking lot.

Is this the same company whose formulas are like race Glaze?

I went to my Pepboys and bought the wax, QD, bug/tar remover, and metal polish. I used the wax on a Silver Odyssey and dear lord did it make it shine. At only 8 bucks, it's a hell of deal for 24 ounces of product. I have yet to try the other stuff but I will be using the QD this weekend.
